Future Food Network Star

While we were in Michigan this last weekend, Mayson made herself at home in Grandma's kitchen and reading Taste of Home magazines.  I'm expecting in the next 20-25 years to have a Food Network Star on my hands.  :)

Mayson's 1st Birthday Party!

Wow!  I can't believe that on Sunday we celebrated my sweet baby girls 1st birthday!  All the planning and decorating, and it was over before I could blink.  The party was a huge success!  Mayson was such a little superstar, maybe I'm a bit biased, but she did so great.  She had a smile on her face the whole time and really loved seeing all her grandparents together in one room, let alone all her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  I totally took advantage of her not caring what she wears (yet) and put her in a tutu for the occasion...hey, I'm her Mom and I can do whatever I want (for now) teehee.

She recieved lots of nice gifts and we haven't even begun to take them all out of the packages yet, I'm trying to let the dust settle a bit.  Hopefully by the end of this week I will have alot of her old toys packed away to make room for the new ones.

CVS Trip 11/02

1 olay body wash
2 oral-b battery powered toothbrushes
1 schick hydro 3 razor
1 old spice body spray
2 travel size secret deoderant
1 cottonelle freshwipes

Total $39 and some change

Total after coupons and extra bucks $10.79 AND i got back $11 extra bucks for next week.  I actually came out .21 cents ahead of the game.  Hooray for coupons.  :)

Bath Time!

Bath time was a big hit the other night.  She loves the bath and splashes around like a mad-woman.  I decided to "do" her hair (think Ace Ventura in the mental hospital style), I had to call Jody in with the camera to get some photographic evidence.  :)
